No One Lives Forever

What's new

Every update to playnolf.com since No One Lives Forever opened in the browser on 8 October 2026, newest first. Last updated .

  1. Play on a phone, a tablet or with a controller

The game now plays by touch: a stick under your left thumb, look and fire under your right, in landscape. A game controller works too, in the game and its menus. The whole site fits small screens.

  2. The music player is now a jukebox

The Select-O-Spy on the front page plays 35 tracks: 24 from the game's score and 11 songs from its In the Lounge soundtrack disc. Press a letter and a number, as on a 1960s jukebox.

  3. Choose a difficulty before a level

Starting a level from the missions list now asks how hard you want it, from Easy to Superspy.

  4. A "Where next?" hint card with a compass

Lost? Press Ctrl+Shift+H (Cmd+Shift+H on a Mac) for the game's own objectives, an arrow to the place that completes the newest one, and a meter that warms as you get closer.

  5. Smooth aim and an aim sensitivity slider

Aiming with a fast mouse is smoother, and the pause card has a slider for how far the view turns. The original game's aim is one switch away.

  6. A cheats card

Ctrl+Shift+G (Cmd+Shift+G on a Mac), or the Cheats button on the pause card, lists the game's original cheat codes and enters them for you.

  7. A screenshot viewer

The screenshots on the front page open full size, with arrow keys and swipes to move between them.

  8. The making-of article

How the game got a new engine in ten days, with AI agents, and every mistake on the way: the whole story with twelve technical files.

  9. Accounts, cloud saves and Continue

A free, optional account keeps your saved games and brings them to any computer. Continue on the front page picks up where you left off, and a forgotten password can be reset by email.

  10. A 1960s television and a music player

The front page plays a montage of the game on a walnut television set, and a music player with 24 tracks of the game's score.

  11. Quick save, right-click zoom and bug reports

A Quick save button (F6, with F9 to load) sits over the game. Right click uses things and zooms a scope. Ctrl+Shift+B sends us a problem report with where you are and a screenshot.

  12. The site moves to playnolf.com

One short address for the game, the missions and the making-of.

  13. No One Lives Forever opens in the browser

All 15 missions and the Game of the Year bonus mission, playable from a missions list with nothing to install, with a keyboard and mouse (the mouse wheel changes weapon).
